My name is Emma! I am the creator of Peachy Prints and the sole operator behind the scenes. I started this business when I was a sophomore in high school. Now, I am a full-time student at West Virginia University studying exercise physiology with a minor in nutritional sciences and food studies on a Pre-PA track. I always have had a passion for art and creating but it was always something I did as a hobby. I used this space as an outlet for many years, but it wasn’t until my first semester of college that I realized what I wanted Peachy Prints to actually be.
I grew up the oldest of three daughters. My whole life all I have ever known is “girls.” I graduated from a small high school and went on to college being the only one from my hometown to attend Pitt... I didn't stay there long! I missed my girl friends. I didn’t have any of my old friends to relate to on the daily and boy, was I struggling. I am a super outgoing person, but when you’re with thousands of other new people you can easily start to feel like a warm body.
One way my roommate and I clicked during my short time at Pitt was by sending instagram reels and posts back and forth with each other all day long. Why? Because the content was relatable. It was for girls, we were girls, we laughed about it and then had something to brighten our day for a brief moment while struggling through classes. Suddenly, we had a thread of messages in our insta dms that we would go back to for a laugh or a “remember when…” We decided we were going to print out all the posts and quotes and create a collage wall. Except, nothing about a white page with black text screams feminine and edgy dorm decor. That’s when I realized this could be so much more. Something I love doing, sharing relatable content with girls, can be tied to art. So I turned Peachy Prints into art for the girls. From posts on insta, to game day pins, even stickers on a laptop, I wanted to create pieces that resonated with other girls my age. I wanted to live in the mess of being young, keep it real, and embrace the aspect of being a girl with other girls. There's no better way of doing that, for me, than mixing my love for art with my passion of bringing girls together.
1. I originally went to Pitt then I transferred to their rival school

8. I love decorating with color... especially pink
I started a blog after my freshman year of college because I needed another fun thing to do aside from Peachy Prints! I like to keep myself busy to say the least. It is another way, aside from art, that I can still be creative and share content. From fashion to food to good reads and TJ Maxx finds, you can find it on my blog, Young and Clueless.
